About Craveity

Craveity isn’t just an agency that helps businesses make money. We’re doing something more. We’re on a mission to improve the U.S. food system.

How do we do it? All of our clients are businesses and non-profits who are doing good things with food. Our clients span across the food system: From food producers who create healthy, sustainable, responsibly-produced products, to companies that reduce food waste, improve food security, or educate kids and adults on nutrition.

We take great care in our projects and truly invest ourselves in our clients’ success. We help our clients use strategic websites, social media and content as tools to grow their audience, communicate their mission, and make a greater impact in their communities.

We believe that the U.S. food system can be better. And we’re using our skills to improve it.

Kara (Buffardi) Hanninen, CEO & Founder

Kara considers herself a digital marketing strategist. She has spent her career handling online marketing and managing teams at advertising agencies and website development companies. Kara teaches social media and website development classes through General Assembly and other educational institutions.

She is a foodie who believes in nutritious, delicious food, and is someone who cares about the sustainability of the planet. So in 2015, she created Craveity Marketing to focus her skills on projects that make a difference.
